This lovingly renovated holiday home is located in the charming former factory village of Fengersfors, nestled in a quiet residential area with friendly Swedish neighbors, just above the village center. Nearby, on the historic factory grounds, you’ll find the popular cultural center Not Quite – a creative hub and one of Dalsland’s most well-known attractions. Right next door is the cozy artisan bakery Brukets Godaste, offering fresh bread, a variety of delicious cinnamon buns, and – during the season – freshly baked pizza every Friday.

For daily needs, a grocery store is available in the village. Families with children will appreciate the nearby playground, just a 5-minute walk away. The idyllic lake Knarrbysjön, with its well-maintained grassy beach and swimming area, is about 10 minutes on foot – perfect for relaxing, swimming, or simply enjoying nature.

Haus Fengersfors is located in the heart of the picturesque Dalsland region – about 130 km north of Gothenburg and only around 25 km from the small town of Åmål. The area is rightly known as “Sweden in miniature”: here, dense forests, wide meadows, and a stunning variety of lakes come together to form a truly unique natural landscape.
Dalsland has the highest density of lakes in all of Sweden, offering an authentic and untouched nature experience.
If you're looking for peace and relaxation on your holiday, this is the perfect place – far away from crowds, traffic noise, and everyday stress.
